When love begins

It's Mother's day. What Gid wants, Gid gets. She wants to watch Aga Muhlach. She gets it.

After mass, we went for a quick lunch at Masas in Greenbelt together with my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law and her family. Lunch was good and the black tea at Coffee Bean was never better on a full stomach.

My in-laws watched Aga Muhlach the previous day. Gid wants to see it too. So off we go to Gateway (we've both never been there).

We never had problem finding parking at Gateway, though I find the mall small compared to SM and Robinsons (ang Glorietta). The place is nice, the good shops are there, but there is nothing much to see really, except for Taco Bell. After getting our Tacos, we went to the movie and found our seats.

*SPOILER WARNING*.

The movie started with a flashback, then went on to show to beauty of Boracay. I guess, if you're a guy and you don't appreciate Aga Muhlach, you'll be happy to see bikini clad extras along the beach. Anne Curtis' role fits her character. I don't mind that she's flat-chested, but I think the casting crew made a good decision on getting her for the role. Weird lang kasi Aga is like late 30's and Anne is like early 20's. Aga's role as a lawyer didn't fit him though. He's not articulate enough to sound like a lawyer, much less act like one.

The most memorable scene in the movie (no, it's not the bed scene), is when Aga's mother got cancer and she went on bidding her goodbyes and wishes to her family. Touching yung scene na yun, lalo na Mother's day.

Aga's mom gave a good tip to Anne. Good relationships are established when couples started as friends. Kasi, when all the love and lust is gone, you'll still have that special friendship to carry on the relationship. Good tip.

It was a feel good movie. It could be a date movie. Not really a chick flick. Cheeezy, yes, but touching din.
